About the course

Chemistry is the science of the composition, Structure, properties, and reaction of materials, namely atomic and molecular system. During B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry program, it is taken up by the study of various theories of chemistry and its branches.

Difference From B.Sc-Chemistry

This course creates the special care in the state of the normal bachelor’s of science subjects like mathematics, physics. This course also includes the study of atomic structure, chemical bonding, thermodynamics, chemistry of various elements, classes of organic compounds, electrochemistry, coordination chemistry, quantum mechanics, spectroscopy, computer applications in chemistry, environmental and biochemistry, etc.

Scope

B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry degree serves as a basis for studies in chemistry and plenty of opportunities in the field of research and development, oil, pharmaceuticals and chemical industries, public health and environmental protection sectors, clinical researches, etc.

Eligibility

The minimum eligibility criterion is a score of at least 45% (relaxable for reserved category candidates) at10+2 or equivalent level.

Fees

Rs. 24,500

NOTE: Academic Fee can be paid in 2 equal installments, Ist at the time of admission and IInd in the month of November. 10% to 15 % increment will be done in the academic fees every year.

• 2% rebate is allowed on fees (Academic and Bus fee only) if the entire fees is paid at once.
• The above fees doesn't include the University Examination Fee.
