About the course

Botany is the science that deals in the structure of plants, their places of growth, their classification, the functions of their parts and the terms which are utilized in their denomination and description. B.Sc. (Hons.) Botany degree program involves the study of the structure, development, growth, and metabolisman extensive variety of biological disciplines, including algae, plants, and fungi.

Difference From B.Sc-Botany

This program provides a complete learning and training in plant forms, molecular genetics, geographical distribution or taxonomy of flora, seed biology, biotechnology, and cell, with uncommon and special reference to Indian environment, ecology, forestry, and commodities.

Scope

Candidates have a wide range of job opportunities in the area of Pharmaceuticals and Chemical industries, Research and Development (R & D), Environmental Protection and Public Health Sectors, Clinical Research, etc.

Eligibility

The minimum eligibility criterion is a score of at least 45% (relaxable for reserved category candidates) at10+2 or equivalent level 

Fees

Rs. 24,500

NOTE: Academic Fee can be paid in 2 equal installments, Ist at the time of admission and IInd in the month of November. 10% to 15 % increment will be done in the academic fees every year.

• 2% rebate is allowed on fees (Academic and Bus fee only) if the entire fees is paid at once.
• The above fees doesn't include the University Examination Fee.
