Celebrating the 24th Year of Excellence
A well stocked library is the backbone of any institution. The Central Library of the College comprises of a spacious, well furnished and illuminated hall with adequate seating capacity for the students.
At present the library has an affluent collection of 40, 000 books as well as Journals (about 40 National journals and 20 International journals). Also the library has a wealthy collection of more than 50 Periodicals, both National and International. More than 10 newspapers are subscribed to the library like Times of India, Economic times, Business Standard, The Hindu, Business Line, Employment News, Hindustan times etc. We also have a separate reading room for the students in postgraduate classes in order to emphasize upon the reading and inculcating the habit of reading journals and other periodicals.
KCMT library is online now. This helps the student to have an online access to search the books available through the use of internet or intranet.
Books are issued to all students; each student can take only 2 books with their tickets.
Books are issued for 15 days.
KCMT provides a matchless service of Book Bank for the professional courses. Under this unique facility the students is provided with the set of books of the subjects to be studied during the year/ semester at the start of the session. The students return the book bank at the end of the year or semester to the library. The Library again issues fresh book bank for the papers to be studied in the next year/ semester at the start of the next year/ semester.
This is how KCMT provides a solution to the problem of buying costly books, magazines etc for the students in this cost effective form of Book Bank. This helps you to reduce the burden of heavy prices of the books and also helps in equipping you with the books throughout the semester or year even if they are not available with the library at any point of time when you really need them.
