The M.Sc. (Botany) program from KCMT is a two Year Masters Program in Botany. The program aims at developing botany ability in students with acute and abstract reason. It is a two year full time course affiliated to MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly.
Botany essentially deals with scientific study of plant life and development. In India, botany is one of the most preferred science subjects. Botany includes a wide variety of scientific disciplines which study fungi, algae, plants, diseases, growth, metabolism and structure between different groups.
The person dealing with the study of botany is known as a botanist. The job of a botanist involves studying plant life as well as finding possible solutions to forestry and agricultural problems.
Botanists also deal with space travel agriculture, artificial environments, hydroponics and various other interesting areas of research. Hence, a career in botany may be highly rewarding for those who are allured with the aesthetic beauty of nature and flora.
B.Sc. with 45% marks & Botany in final year as compulsory subjects. (40% for SC/ST candidates)
