The department has well equipped laboratory for the study of clothing and textiles. Space and equipment are available for chemical, physical, microscopic and sensory investigations of textiles and for textile product development research, and the physical and socio-psychological aspects of clothing.
Foods and Nutrition offers an interdisciplinary study of Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biophysics and Instrumentation. For imparting hands on practical training to the students, the department has well appointed laboratories with updated modern equipments. Experiential learning is through equipments available for chemical, physical, microscopic and sensory investigations of Food and Nutrition products.
